Love to Cake Camp


New Style of Camp!

If you have sent your kids to camp in the past, this is a "new" style of camp. Each day a separate part will be the focus. This camp builds on skills from the previous day and then kids will bring home the finished cake on the final day of camp.

Your kids will love the amazing experience at The Sweet & Savory Classroom! The theme of this camp is “Love to Cake.” Throughout this four-day camp, we’ll walk step-by-step through the entire cake-making process—from baking the layers to learning real decorating skills. Chef will spend 4 days teaching your children their way around the kitchen completely hands-on!


Food creates such an open environment to teach our students. The campers will be challenged, build confidence, learn food safety, practice proper kitchen sanitation, have a great time, and enjoy delicious treats along the way! They will learn how to follow a recipe, mise en place, portion and measure ingredients, baking techniques, and how to decorate a cake with pride.


Camp is 9am-1pm each day (Tuesday-Friday)


Drop off: 8:50am-9am (Doors open at 8:50am)


Pick up: 1pm-1:10pm (No need to come early, 1pm works best!) We do our best to be finished on time!


Beverages and Lunch will be provided each day!


 


IMPORTANT: All parents/legal guardians must come inside and sign a waiver for their children the first day of the workshop.


The age requirements for this camp are 8-13 years of age. The age requirements are firm with NO EXCEPTIONS. Your child must be at least 8 years of age when attending camp.

This class can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies. Please submit the form listed in the footer of our website prior to coming to class. We do our best to make substitutions. In the case we cannot substitute a suitable ingredient then it will be omitted from your ingredients.
