Cancellation/Transfer

Thank you for booking a cooking class with us! We do appreciate your business and the opportunity to serve you with excellence and great food!

We understand that things happen, schedules change, kids get sick, you get COVID, etc. and you may become unable to attend your scheduled class. 

Please also understand that we are a small classroom with limited seats. If your reservation is in 10 days or less we have already spent 50% of your reservation in preparations for your spot in class. We have purchased some ingredients, scheduled Chefs and classroom assistants, and planned for your reservation.

If this is the day of your class we do not issue any refunds or transfer credits.

Most other entertainment venues such as music venues, movie theaters, sports games, etc do not offer any type of refund or transfer. If you cannot make it to one of those events you simply lose out.

With that said…we love all of you too much for that and do try our best to accommodate. Please see below for our updated (as of January 2023) Cancellation and Transfer policy.

Valentine's Day 2024 Cancellation Policy

If you cannot make it to class there will be no refunds or transfer credits given after Feb 6th. Again after Feb 6th there will be no refunds, transfers, rainchecks, transfer credits or credits for future classes given.

If you need to make adjustments to your reservation....please do so BEFORE February 6th, 2023.After Feb 6th, if you cannot make it to class, there will be two options:1. You can call to see if there is someone on the waiting list for your date. If we are able to fill your spot we can give you some credit towards a future class, minus an admin charge.2. You can send someone in your place.By Feb 6th many preparations will have been made, special orders for ingredients placed and all of our staff trained and scheduled. Thank you for joining us....We are so excited to have you!!!!

Option #1. Send someone in your place.

If you can not make your class please feel free to send someone in your place. No need to call or email, simply have your replacement let us know upon arrival.

If this is the day of your class we do not issue any refunds or transfer credits.

Option #2. Refund or Transfer Credit (Class is more than 10 days away).

If your scheduled class is 10 days or more away….you can request a refund or transfer credit towards a future class. Please note that in either case there is a $15 admin/processing charge. Please email chefjeff@sweetandsavoryclassroom.com with your name, order number, and if you desire a refund or credit. If you desire future class credit, we will respond with a “one time use credit code” that you can use on our website when booking your next class. Future class credit is good for six months from issue date. Please keep your code in a safe place. We do not reissue lost codes.

Option #3. Transfer Credit (Class is 9 days or less away)

If your scheduled class is 9 days or less away we do not issue any refunds. However…we do offer future class credit. Please see the scale below.

If your class is 5-9 days away you can receive 75% future class credit.

If your class is 1-4 days away you can receive 50% future class credit.

If this is the day of your class we do not issue any refunds or transfer credits.

There will be no refunds or credit for any “no show” reservations without prior contacting us.

To get your future class credit please email chefjeff@sweetandsavoryclassroom.com with the order number, name, and email address of the person who made the reservation. We will respond with a “one time use credit code” that you can use on our website when booking your next class. Future class credit is good for 6 months from the original class date. Please keep your code in a safe place. We do not reissue lost codes.

 

 All cancellation requests must be made through email in advance of your scheduled class (please email chefjeff@sweetandsavoryclassroom.com, do not call or Facebook message).
