Description:

Your young baker will learn how to make traditional Alfajores from scratch! In this hands-on class, students will mix and bake delicate, melt-in-your-mouth cookies before filling them with rich dulce de leche and finishing them with a classic coating of powdered sugar or coconut. Along the way, they'll practice essential baking skills like measuring ingredients, mixing dough, rolling and cutting cookies, monitoring baking times, and assembling beautiful sandwich cookies with care and precision.

In this hands-on class, kids will learn essential baking skills in a safe and age-appropriate environment. Our experienced chef will start with a brief evaluation to understand each student's current skill level. From there, they will receive personalized instruction to improve their skills, build confidence in the classroom, and develop safe baking practices.

Details:

Parental Involvement: Kids ages 7 and below must have a parent stay with them during the class and both parent and kid are included in the $45 price. You two will share one station. Kids 8 and over can be dropped off.

Price: $45 per child, with a $5 discount for each additional sibling. (Use code 'Homeschool$5' when checking out for the discount)

Parents of kids 8 years an older, who wish to stay and participate, may sign up to take the class as well. You would need to purchase an additional seat to do so.

- Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions your child may have.

- We understand that you may have children younger than the specified age range. They are welcome to join you so you don't have to arrange for a babysitter. Please bring their favorite game or craft to do while the class is going on.
