Art of the Board

Your kids will love the amazing experience at The Sweet & Savory Classroom! The theme of this camp is “Art of the Board.” During this four-day camp, students will learn how to create a beautiful and delicious charcuterie-style board—starting with making the individual items that bring a board to life. Chef will spend 4 days teaching your children their way around the kitchen completely hands-on!

Food creates such an open environment to teach our students. The campers will be challenged, build confidence, learn food safety, practice proper kitchen sanitation, have a great time, and enjoy the foods they create! They will learn how to follow a recipe, mise en place, portion and measure ingredients, kitchen techniques, and how to arrange a board with creativity and style.

Camp is 1:30pm - 5pm each day (Tuesday-Friday)

Drop off: 1:20pm - 1:30pm(Doors open at 1:20pm)

Pick up: 5pm-5:10pm (No need to come early, 5pm works best!) We do our best to be finished on time! 

Full Day Camp:

If you are looking for a full day of camp you would need to Purchase this camp AND Purchase the afternoon Love to Bake Camp. This camp is during the afternoon time slot (1:30pm-5pm) and the Love to Bake  Camp is the morning camp from 9am-1pm.

Again to make it a full day of camp you would need to purchase both camps.

This camp + Love to Bake Camp = A Full 4 days of camp (9am-5pm)

If your kids are staying for both camps, you do not need to pick them up. We realize there’s a break in the middle and we have planned activities to keep your kids occupied during the break. Again, if you sign your kid up for both camps you do not need to pick them up, they can just stay here in between.

Beverages and Lunch will be provided each day!

IMPORTANT: All parents/legal guardians must come inside and sign a waiver for their children the first day of the workshop.

The age requirements for this camp are 8-13 years of age. The age requirements are firm with NO EXCEPTIONS. Your child must be at least 8 years of age when attending camp.

This class can accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies. Please submit the form listed in the footer of our website prior to coming to class. We do our best to make substitutions. In the case we cannot substitute a suitable ingredient then it will be omitted from your ingredients.
