Traditional Southern Thanksgiving - Saturday November 13thYou will be immersed in a wonderful whirlwind of food and fancy.
About this experience
Thanksgiving in the South is a special time to share time honored traditions through the art of food. While I am not “originally” from the South, I have spent most of my cooking life in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. In this class we will unite some of the time honored, Southern Traditional Thanksgiving fare with a few modern twists to lighten it up.
With the amount of items we dare to tackle in our 3 hour class, you can expect to work in groups for some of the cooking and as pairs for the rest. We will not forsake our hands on cooking class roots, I promise. You will be immersed in a wonderful whirlwind of food and fancy.
Maple Brown Butter Sweet Potatoes
Apple Cider and Bacon Brussel Sprouts
Roasted Poussin with Traditional Brown Gravy (Poussin is a small bird that tastes great and is capable of being fully roasted the 3 hour class)
Chocolate Coconut Pecan Bar
Your class will be taught by one of our Chef Instructors.
