What should I expect?
When you sign up for a cooking class you can expect to be greeted with a smile and learn to cook in style. Each class is hands-on cooking. We use demonstration to show you the techniques and then you do all the fun work. Our classes are fast paced. We make a mess! Everyone works together to accomplish the classes objectives and share in eating throughout the class. You can expect to cook, clean up, and go home full or with a handful of leftovers.

Do I need to let you know about allergies?
*Allergies - The Sweet and Savory Classroom must be notified at the time of your class booking of food allergies that you have. Our cooking classroom uses nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, seafood and many other foods that many cause allergic reactions. Anyone with allergies will be entering the cooking classroom at your own risk, at no time can the cooking classroom be completely free of allergens. Please email us at chefjeff@sweetandsavoryclassroom.com to notify us of your allergies.

Can I be refunded for my class?
We are a small classroom and every seat is precious. We also understand "things" happen. Refunds will be given with email notification 7 days in advance of your scheduled class. With less than 7 days notice of cancellation no refunds will be given. If you are eligible for a refund, a $10 fee will be deducted from your refund to cover the credit card processing and admin. fees.

Can I be transferred to a different cooking class?
Transfers are allowed 7 days in advance to your original scheduled class with a $10 admin fee.

Can someone else take my place in a class if I'm not able to attend?
Yes, please send someone in your place and notify us in advance by email with the persons name and phone number so we can greet them with a smile when they walk through our door.

Will I be required to sign a waiver?
Yes, all participants will be required to sign a waiver before the start of class. For children under 18 years of age a parental adult or guardian will be required to sign the waiver before the start of class.

Can I drop off a student who is under 18 to take a class by themselves?

Yes, as long as they fit the age requirement for the class. Also, any participants who are under 18 years of age must arrive to class with a parent or guardian to sign a waiver.

What should I wear to my cooking class?
You will want to wear comfortable clothes and non-slip closed-toe shoes.

Do I need to bring anything with me?
No, all supplies, aprons, and towels will be provided for you to use during class.

What age are the adult classes for?
The age varies for the adult classes please look at each individual class for the age requirements.

What age are the children's class for?
Each class will specify in the description what the age requirements are.

What do you provide?
We provide all food, tools, and instruction to complete each class.

What type of beverages will be served?
We will provide water and coffee.

Do you serve alcohol?
Yes, we are currently permitted to sell wine, high gravity beer, and liquor. Please DO NOT bring your own.
