Kid’s Cooking Parties


Celebrate at The Sweet and Savory Classroom with your own private cooking party! Your little chef will have a chance to get creative, have fun with friends, and eat great food!


The per child price includes:

  • Chef instruction for the cooking class
  • All ingredients and tools needed for the class
  • 2 beverage choices
  • 1 additional course
  • 1 dessert item
  • 2 hour party
  • See below for details.


Prices:

Prices listed are for off peak times which are M-F Daytime & Saturday afternoons. All other times may require higher minimums and/or additional prime time fee. Every child participating will be charged. If extra kids show up they will be added to the total.


  • Age 6-13 years of age $55 /child with a minimum of 10 children ($60/child for Saturday Parties) -plus 20% gratuity.
  • Age 14-17 years of age $60 /child with a minimum of 10 children ($65/child for Saturday Parties) -plus 20% gratuity.


Deposit: 50% deposit is required to book your day.


Final Payment: Final balance payment is paid the day of your event.


Cancellation policy:

Your deposit is refundable up to 30 days before your event date. Less than 30 days notice of cancellation your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit will be applied to the total bill on the day of your event.


Waiver:

Every participant/guest will be required to sign a waiver. Every person under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver before participating in class.


The Following Choices are included in the per child price:

Cooking Class (Pick 1 age appropriate class):


Ages 6-8 years old (1 adult present for every 2 kids)

  1. Neapolitan Pizza (mix dough, make sauce, demo fresh mozzarella, bake your own pizza to enjoy!)
  2. Handmade Pasta (mix dough, use pasta machine, demo sauces, cook and eat pasta)
  3. Cookie Creating (demo making cookie dough, roll cookie dough, cut out cookies, bake, decorate, and enjoy eating and take the rest home!)


Ages 9-13 years old (1 adult present for every 4 kids)

  1. Neapolitan Pizza (mix dough, make sauce, make fresh mozzarella, bake your own pizza to enjoy!)
  2. Handmade Pasta (mix dough, use pasta machine, make sauce, cook and eat pasta)
  3. Crepes (Make batter, cook crepes, demo fillings, fill crepes and eat)
  4. Cookie Creating (mix cookie dough, roll cookie dough, cut out cookies, bake, decorate, and enjoy eating and take the rest home!)
  5. Crazy Cupcakes (mix cake batter, make icing, decorate 10 cupcakes to eat and enjoy eating cake that the chef makes and take yours home!)


Ages 14-17 years old (2 adults present)

  1. Neapolitan Pizza (mix dough, make sauce, make fresh mozzarella, bake your own pizza to enjoy!)
  2. Handmade Pasta (mix dough, use pasta machine, make sauce, cook and eat pasta)
  3. Crepes (Make batter, cook crepes, demo fillings, fill crepes and eat)
  4. Cookie Creating (mix cookie dough, roll cookie dough, cut out cookies, bake, decorate, and enjoy eating and take the rest home!)
  5. Thai Street Food (make Chicken satay, make sticky rice, make hot sweet sauce, eat)
  6. Crazy Cupcakes (mix cake batter, make icing, decorate 10 cupcakes to eat and take home!)
  7. Cake Decorating (demo making cake batter, make icing, ice and decorate your own cake to take home)

Beverages (Pick 2) Water will also be provided.

  • Milk
  • Chocolate Milk
  • Apple Juice
  • Soda
  • Iced Tea
  • Lemonade
  • Pineapple Punch (pineapple juice, lemonade, sprite)

Additional Course (Pick 1) 1 Serving per child.

  • Side Salad
  • Veggies and Dip
  • Fruit Skewers

Sweet Cooking Class: If you picked a sweet cooking class, we will provide a savory menu item included in the price.


  • Pizza
  • Grilled Cheese


Dessert (Pick 1) 1 Serving per child. See below for cake options INSTEAD of cupcakes or cookies.

  • Cookies and Cream Cupcake (chocolate cake, vanilla icing, Oreo cookie crumbs)
  • Very Vanilla Cupcake (white cake with vanilla icing and rainbow sprinkles)
  • Creamy Carrot (carrot cake cupcake with cream cheese icing)
  • Large Chocolate Chip Cookie
  • Large Oatmeal Raisin Cookie
  • Large Sugar Cookie
  • Large Snickerdoodle Cookie (sugar cookie topped with cinnamon sugar!)

Kids cooking classes do not include any adult food or beverages. Here are some options to fulfill that need and any other common requests.


  • Decorated Birthday Cake - 8” Round $40 (approx. 16 servings) (this option is INSTEAD of cupcakes or cookies)
  • Decorated Birthday Cake - 10” Round $50 (approx. 20 servings) (this option is INSTEAD of cupcakes or cookies)
  • Decorated Birthday Cake - 1/4 Sheetcake $60 (approx. 30 servings) (this option is INSTEAD of cupcakes or cookies)
  • Ice Cream (a dish with 2 scoops vanilla ice cream) $3/person
  • Ice Cream Sundae Station (vanilla ice cream with 5 toppings) $6/person
  • Assorted Vegetable and Dip Tray $40/tray
  • Assorted Fruit Tray $40/tray
  • Assorted Cheese and Cracker Tray $60/tray
  • Hummus and Pita Tray $35/tray
  • Sandwich Tray (bread, turkey and ham, cheddar and provolone, greens and condiments) $90/tray
  • Vegetarian Sandwich Tray (bread, hummus and roasted vegetables) $70/tray
  • Coffee service $15
  • A la Carte beverages available

Additional Guidelines:

Client can bring party decorations and mylar balloons (please no latex, we are a latex free kitchen). Client can arrive 30 minutes before the start of class to decorate and set-up and have 30 minutes to finish up after your class/party time slot is over.


Prohibited from our classroom are: anything flammable (including candles), glitter, confetti, silly string, or anything that would be difficult to clean up (per kitchen regulations).


No outside food or beverage can be brought into our classroom (some exceptions may apply). Each child under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver before participating in class.


Allergies:

The Sweet and Savory Classroom must be notified at the time of your class booking of food allergies that you have. Our cooking classroom uses nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, shellfish, seafood and many other foods that many cause allergic reactions. Anyone with allergies will be entering the cooking classroom at your own risk, at no time can the cooking classroom be completely free of allergens.
